From political campaigns to personal causes, yard signs took center stage during a tumultuous election cycle, symbolizing the heightened intensity of American politics and the enduring appeal of grassroots messaging.<\/p>\n

\u201cYard signs have always been a staple of the promo industry, but in 2024 they represented something deeper \u2013 active engagement and the power of personal expression,\u201d said C.J. Mittica<\/strong>, editor-in-chief of ASI Media. \u201cFrom small-town lawns to large-scale displays, these signs became the megaphone for people\u2019s beliefs, passions and politics.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to searches in ESP, interest in yard signs surged, with searches up 23% compared to the 2016 election cycle. Hanover, PA-based Quinn (asi\/80228) reported that sales of standard yard signs more than quadrupled compared to 2020, and large-format signs gained popularity as Americans sought to amplify their messages in bigger, bolder ways.<\/p>\n

The 2024 election cycle highlighted the enduring importance of these products. Research from Columbia University found political yard signs can increase a candidate\u2019s vote share by 1.7 percentage points \u2013 a crucial margin in tightly contested races.<\/p>\n

Beyond politics, yard signs became a medium for broader expression. Their use spiked during the pandemic as people celebrated milestones and conveyed support for causes, and their popularity has only grown in the years since.<\/p>\n
