Eight great ways for screen printers to get the most of their screen printing equipment and boost sales.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Readers\u2019 Choice<\/strong>. Round three of <em>Wearables<\/em>\u2019 Top Decorator competition, which pits elite screen printers from all across the country against each other in a design challenge, with the winners voted on by readers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cutting-Edge Trends<\/strong>. A how-to on recreating the blocky lettering decoration trend in fashion championed by top designers like Phillip Lim.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Business-Building Tips<\/strong>. Equipment suggestions to expand beyond screen printing and into embroidery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cScreen printers have long been an integral component of the <em>Wearables<\/em> community,\u201d said <em>Wearables<\/em> Editor C.J. Mittica. \u201cWe are proud to offer stories and content that highlight the latest decoration trends, sales techniques and up-to-the-minute equipment offerings.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Wearables<\/em> is the $19.4 billion promotional products industry\u2019s resource for promotional apparel, fabrics, colors, sizing, decoration and terminology. Each issue contains the latest news on apparel, decorating and accessories as well as sales strategies and trends. All told, 32% of <em>Wearables<\/em>\u2019 current readers are screen printers and embroiderers.<\/p>\n<p>The $60 billion U.S. screen printing industry includes over 25,000 screen printing companies, according to the Screenprinting and Graphic Imaging Association International (SGIA).<\/p>\n<p>In 2012, <em>Wearables <\/em>won five editorial and design awards. Most recently, <em>Wearables<\/em> was a 2013 Jesse H. Neal Award finalist for Best Single Article for \u201cPassing the Test,\u201d an investigation into whether garments from industry suppliers and retail brands lived up to their performance property claims, and for Best Subject-Related Package for \u201cMade in America,\u201d an examination of the root causes allowing domestic apparel manufacturers to thrive here at home.<\/p>\n<p>ASI publishes seven catalogs, five magazines and eight newsletters. ASI\u2019s magazine circulation is audited and growing, and <em>Counselor<\/em><sup class=\"register\">\u00ae<\/sup>\u2019s top lists are now the industry standard.
