Hub Pen honored as Supplier of the Year<\/p>\n

TREVOSE, PA \u2013 January 18, 2012 \u2013 <\/strong>The Advertising Specialty Institute honored more than 250 of the industry\u2019s top-performing suppliers Tuesday at the annual Counselor <\/em>Distributor Choice Awards.<\/p>\n

Hub Pen, of Massachusetts, was selected as Supplier of the Year, securing the industry\u2019s most-valued supplier status across 56 categories.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor nearly 60 years, distributors have relied on Hub Pen (asi\/61966)<\/em> for great pricing, unparalleled service and a sterling reputation for the personal touch,\u201d said Timothy M. Andrews, president and chief executive officer of ASI. \u201cThis year\u2019s Supplier of the Year has stayed strong and true to its core mission since 1954, when it was founded by Frank Fleming, who once tirelessly assembled pens by hand. Today, Hub Pen is a true industry leader, rated by distributors as the very best.\u201d<\/p>\n

The premier awards ceremony took place during ASI Orlando<\/a>, the ad specialty industry\u2019s largest event on the East Coast, which ends Wednesday at the Orange County Convention Center.<\/p>\n

Distributors across North America choose which companies to honor by voting for their most-valued ad specialty suppliers. Winners are selected based upon real votes and data from ASI\u2019s Supplier Performance Ratings<\/a>.<\/p>\n

To be considered a Counselor<\/em> Distributor Choice Awards finalist, an ASI supplier must have an overall performance rating of four stars (out of a maximum five), been rated by at least 40 distributors and have reports on at least 100 transactions.<\/p>\n

All told, 261 finalists qualified in 56 product categories, including two new categories: banners, flags and pennants and tools.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
