{"id":2291,"date":"2016-06-06T13:38:05","date_gmt":"2016-06-06T13:38:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/asi2.wpenginepowered.com\/uncategorized\/asi-announces-asi-business-forum\/"},"modified":"2016-06-06T13:38:05","modified_gmt":"2016-06-06T13:38:05","slug":"asi-announces-asi-business-forum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asicentral.com\/press-releases\/asi-announces-asi-business-forum\/","title":{"rendered":"ASI\u00ae Announces ASI Business Forum"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/h1>\n<p><em>Event for Leading Suppliers and Distributors, Headed by Leon Rudolph<\/em><\/p>\n<\/header>\n<p><strong>TREVOSE, PA \u2013 May 6, 2008 &#8211;<\/strong> Advertising Specialty Institute\u00ae, the largest media and marketing organization serving the advertising specialty industry, announced today the new ASI Business Forum to provide business development opportunities for leading suppliers and distributors.<\/p>\n<p>The event will take place in a resort setting during a two-day period.\u00a0 It will be managed by Leon Rudolph, formerly of industry supplier Bullet Line, whose team of 20 marketing and sales professionals helped the company grow from around $20 million in sales in 1998 to over $70 million by 2007.<\/p>\n<p>Leon started with Bullet Line as its first outside sales person and was promoted through the ranks to vice president of sales and marketing.\u00a0 After Bullet Line\u2019s sale to Polyconcept in 2006, Leon played a vital role in the transition of the management and sales teams, before retiring in March, 2008.<\/p>\n<p>The ASI Business Forum will feature an exclusive opportunity for a select group of suppliers to meet one-on-one with representatives, executives and principals from up to 30 distributor companies.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>ASI suppliers who attend will have the opportunity to schedule individual meetings with distributors.\u00a0 They will forge new sales relationships with top prospects, who otherwise might be a challenge to reach, and can visit with current clients.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Distributors will do business with up to 20 key industry suppliers, available to them for perhaps the first time.\u00a0 ASI will cover all travel expenses for participating distributors \u2013 hotel and air \u2013 to provide a special opportunity to focus on sales activities.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe ASI Business Forum allows first-class distributors and suppliers to do business face-to-face,\u201d said Timothy M.
