TREVOSE, PA \u2013 July 13, 2006 –<\/strong> Advertising Specialty Institute\u00ae, the largest media organization serving the promotional products industry, announced today it has negotiated a 65% discount on UPS\u00ae (NYSE: UPS) freight shipments and between 6% – 25% on other common UPS delivery options for ASI members in Canada. \u00a0This is a new benefit available at no extra charge to Canadian members.<\/p>\n

ASI distributors and suppliers in Canada who enroll in the program will save 65% on UPS freight LTL (less-than-truckload) shipping, with comprehensive cross-border service to and from Canada, and will save between 6% – 25% on other importing, exporting, domestic, express and standard shipping options.<\/p>\n

There are now more than 10,000 ASI distributor and supplier members receiving UPS shipping discounts, saving more than $12.5 million dollars per year.<\/p>\n
