Campaign highlights reach of promo products and calls on members to share pics of items they see<\/em><\/p>\n

TREVOSE, PA \u2013 July 1, 2020 \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>The Advertising Specialty Institute\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0today kicked off a social media campaign called \u201cPromo in the Wild\u201d to demonstrate the far reach of promo products throughout the month of July by asking industry members to be on the lookout for logoed products, tag a photo with the hashtag #PromoInTheWild and share it to ASI\u2019s online platforms.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of the best ways to convince people of the power and reach of our industry\u2019s affordable, effective products is to showcase them wherever and whenever we can,\u201d said Timothy M. Andrews (@Tim_Andrews_ASI<\/a>), ASI president and chief executive officer.\u00a0 \u201cAs businesses begin to reopen and we start venturing out \u2013 safely and according to local guidelines \u2013 we want everyone in our industry to be on the lookout for branded products in their backyard, community, beach or street. A summertime social media campaign is a perfect way to celebrate our industry when we need it most.\u201d<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s how it works:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Take a photo or video of a promo product that you see \u201cIn the Wild,\u201d<\/strong> like a beach towel emblazoned with a team logo, a branded koozie spotted at a family BBQ or a logoed face mask, cap or T-shirt spied at the grocery store. Or take a selfie sporting your own promo items.<\/li>\n
  2. Tag ASI and use the hashtag #PromoInTheWild<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Share the photo<\/strong> to your Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn or Facebook pages.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Throughout July, ASI will choose four posts at random to highlight and winners will receive a $25 Visa gift card.<\/p>\n

    \u201cThe aim of this campaign is to call attention to awesome promo products while reinforcing what everyone in our industry knows \u2013 that branded items really are everywhere,\u201d said ASI Social Media Manager Melissa Newman. \u201cThe beauty of it is that you can find promo near or far \u2013 your own home or your favorite state park.
